What a year!

I didn't realized that I had not blogged for almost a year.  Last summer, I was contracted by an international bank to write their  (Anti-Money Laundering "AML") manual and communications  for three months after sacrificing everything to start my business and pursue my dreams. I don't think I shared this but I'm sort of a Banking and Securities Law expert.  They liked me so much that they kept me for a year, the maximum time that one can consult at the bank. I can testify that sacrifice is priceless. Of course, full time was not an option for me because I'm business woman at heart.  Good thing is that I can go back in the future as a consultant, and now other banks are after me. Ha! When banks like Citibank and Chase are in trouble, they call me to help fix issues with the Federal Reserve.  But, I am taking the summer off and glad I have options. I'm going back to school so that I can sit for my patent bar next year. It's a specialized bar. There are so many lawyers in the City, approximately 250, 000 of them, and I don't just want to be like every entertainment lawyer. Looking forward to some time off - 40 hours a week instead of 80 hours. I had no idea how I was billing 60 hours a week and doing GoodGirlPR business better than ever. Yeah, I do. I was focused and a small team of two.  With that, you can accomplish anything. Don't worry....I will be DJing soon. Xoxoxo.
